From 22 to 25 September 2026, the consortium of the Erasmus+ project “Youth Empowerment Hub: Digital, Inclusive & Engaged” (YOUth HUB) youthhubproject.eu gathered in Palermo, Italy, for its second Transnational Project Meeting.
As project coordinator, European Youth4Media Network e.V. (Y4M) facilitated the consortium discussions and the review of progress achieved during the first part of the project.
Together with partners from Italy, Czechia, Finland and Poland, we reviewed project cooperation and current results and agreed on priorities for the next implementation phase. Particular attention was given to the development of educational content, the project website and learning platform, dissemination activities, responsibilities and upcoming deadlines.
The meeting was also an opportunity to discuss the longer-term perspective of YOUth HUB: how the resources currently being developed can remain useful for youth workers and youth organisations beyond the project period and how the partnership can contribute to future European cooperation.
The programme included visits to local youth initiatives in Palermo and to Polo Meccatronica Valley, combining project management and planning with an exchange of experiences and practices.
For Y4M, TPM2 was an important milestone in coordinating the different strands of the project and ensuring that the consortium moves forward with shared priorities and clearly defined next steps.
YOUth HUB is an Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership designed to strengthen the digital literacy and emotional resilience of youth workers and youth organisations and provide practical resources for supporting young people, particularly displaced and vulnerable youth, in navigating digital challenges.
